PELLANORA Scent Objects in Glass and Brass

Batch Seven is now open

Scent objects, Batch Seven

Scent, castin glassand brass

Pellanora is a small studio that blows glass, turns brass and blends oils in the same room. Everything we make is meant to be looked at first and smelled second.

BATCH SEVEN, HAND BLOWN, SMALL RUN, 07

The collection

Eight pieces from the current batch. Every one is numbered, rested for six weeks and packed by hand.

Glass being shaped in the studio
    Brass fittings and glass vessels

    The atelier

    Made in one room

We started in a rented garage with a borrowed kiln and one very patient perfumer. Today the studio is four glassblowers, two metalworkers and a nose named Ines who refuses to write anything down until an oil has rested for six weeks.

Nothing here is rushed, and nothing is made twice the same way. A flask that comes out with a bubble in its shoulder keeps the bubble. We think of it as a signature.
